BOOSTER CLUB - WHO WE ARE

The Booster Club is the support vehicle to the team – both the athletes and coaches. We supplement team needs and serve as a conduit to parents. We are not coaches, and we stay out of swim team management. We are entirely funded through dues that each family pays and team fundraising efforts. The Booster Club is managed by a committed team of volunteers.

What we pay for:

• Purchase of meet- or practice-related items/equipment upon coaches’ request

• Subsidize expenses for food and travel for out-of-town meets and States

• Special team events (senior night, food for team events)

• Subsidize team gear

• Team Award Corridor (framed photos)

• Stipend to RHS students/staff who videotape meets, and scoring

• Purchase of snack bar supplies

• Yearbooks

• Year-end banquet – covers athlete and coach costs

• Year-end awards and gifts

• Meet entries (where applicable)

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
It takes a village! Please email RHSWIMDIVE@GMAIL.com if you are interested in getting involved. We are looking for the following roles. Once we collect initial interest, we will set up a sign-up genius too.

Concession Coordinator and Committee (home meets). Looking for 1-2 parents that own this process with others who would be available to work concessions during our ~4 to 5 meets.



Home meet announcers/coordinator. Includes announcing for swim and/or dive events and working with the RHS Boosters to ensure coverage for all areas needed.

 

End-of-Season Banquet Committee. This is a marquee event that requires many volunteers!

 

Senior Night Committee. Traditionally run by Junior families. We are looking for 2 parents to lead this initiative.

 

Fundraising. Partner with the RHS Boosters to support on-going and new initiatives.

 

Spirit Gallery Committee. Work with the current Boosters to support the District update and maintain awards and signage throughout Natatorium and entrance way.

 

Once the Central League meet season schedule is finalized, we will reach out to ask for volunteers to host pasta parties prior to some of the swim/dive meets. This is a great time and tradition for the​ swimmers and divers to get together out of the pool!
